Who this is for

A workshop built around your business

This is a welcoming, practical workshop for GCMI small business owners. You will start your Second Brain: one place for your important files, notes, and weekly work. Then you will use it to ask AI better questions and get more useful help.

It is built for Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative small business owners. Come as you are, at whatever comfort level you are starting from.

What we will cover

  • Use Cowork to help with everyday business work
  • Learn how MCP and connectors can help you connect the business platforms you already use
  • Start your Second Brain: one place for your important files, notes, and weekly work
  • Get organized so you can ask AI better questions and get better answers
  • Practice with a real task from your business
  • Leave with clear next steps

Bring one real business task and a laptop or tablet. Phones are not suitable for class activities.

What to bring

  • Bring a laptop or tablet for the hands-on work. Phones are not suitable for class activities.
  • Your device charger.
  • One real task from your business that takes you too long each week.
  • An email address you can sign into during the session.
  • A paid AI subscription is recommended, but not required. It helps you get more from the hands-on work.
  • Any questions you have been saving up. There are no silly questions here.

Where we meet

Virtual sessionJoining link emailed after registration.

If you have an access need, such as a wheelchair accessible entrance, a seat near the front, large print handouts, or language support, please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to make arrangements.

About the short assessment

There is a short assessment that goes with this workshop. It is simply a way for us to learn how you already use technology in your business so we can shape the session around the room.

The assessment link will be sent to you after your payment goes through.

It is not a test, and there is no score or grade attached to it.

Good to know

Details and common questions

Do I need to know anything about AI before I come?
Some experience using an AI tool is preferred. This workshop is for business owners who may be new to using AI for their business but are ready to learn more ways to use it. The pace is designed for people who have already tried an AI tool and want to go further.
Is the space accessible?
The venue details are listed above. If you have a mobility, vision, hearing, language, or other access need, please tell us ahead of time and we will do our best to make arrangements.
Can I bring someone from my team?
Each seat covers one person, so each person attending needs their own registration.
What if I do not have a laptop?
Please bring a laptop or tablet because we will do hands-on setup. Phones are not suitable for class activities.
Do I need a paid AI subscription?
No. You can still attend and learn without one. A paid subscription is recommended if you want to get the most from the class and keep using the tools after it.
Will there be parking?
Please park on the plaza level, also called the library level, and enter the building by following the fence line. The class is on the third floor in room 304A. Security will be present and signs will be posted.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Reach out using the contact information in the footer and we will talk through your options.
